The SFS Foundation, INC. was started by the employees of Standard For Success to expand their mission of fostering growth and success for every educator and student. The mission of the foundation is to do research and provide thought leadership around Better Teachers, Better Students, and to contribute to a Better World.

President

Dianna Whitlock, Ed.D.

Dr. Whitlock is the former Vice President of higher Education Solutions for Standard For Success. She has completed academic research in early childhood education and specifically the impact of services in rural poverty areas. She also led a research study on 17% of the teachers in Indiana relating to teacher evaluation data. Her book “Teacher Evaluation as a Growth Process” was just released.

Dianna spent time as a K12 teacher, building administrator, and district coordinator before moving to her role at Standard For Success. Her passion for seeing all students and educators be successful drives her initiatives.

Board members

Todd Whitlock, Treasurer

Mr. Whitlock is a co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Standard For Success. Todd served in public education for 20 years as a teacher and district administrator. Mr. Whitlock has served on many education association boards and currently serves as a business representative on the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents board.

Alan Degener, Member

Mr. Degener is a co-founder and former Chief Technology Officer of Standard For Success. Alan served in the Alaska public school system for 22 years as a teacher. Mr. Degener has served as a volunteer and programmer for many state associations.
